Welcome!
Welcome to Wood County Cowboy Church! We're glad you're here. We recognize there are many churches to choose from and we're thrilled that you've found W3C. We'd love to have you join us in person. If you have any questions about our church, mission, or ministries, please reach out to any member of our staff.
Our Mission
We exist to reach lost and un-churched people for Jesus Christ.
We know that it's OK to not be OK so we are a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints.
Our Beliefs
One God exists in three persons:
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
The Bible is the Word of God.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died to save men from their sins.
Men are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ.
Baptism is the way people publicly profess their faith in Christ and identify themselves with his death, burial, and resurrection.
OUR CHURCH LEADERS
Doug Musgrove
HEAD PASTOR
In 2013, two friends and I started a men’s Bible study in our barn. Over those years, I felt God calling me into ministry, though I wrestled with that calling for a long time. In 2019, I finally surrendered and told the Lord I would follow wherever He led. Since then, He’s allowed me to share the gospel and serve His church in ways that continually remind me of His grace.
My favorite verse is Matthew 12:30: “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” It shapes the way I approach ministry and discipleship - with a desire to gather, encourage, and point people toward Jesus in all things.
My wife, Angie, and I have been married 40 years. We are blessed with three children and five grandchildren, and some of our favorite times together are spent enjoying livestock and nature on a generational tract of land located in Leon County. Our family is a blessing, and we thank God for His goodness every day.

Lynn Long
ButtonWOMEN'S MINISTRY
Lynn is married to Steve Mieczkowski and they have been together for 26 years. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Back in 2015 Steve said he was going to this cowboy church after numerous invites from a friend. She surprised him when she agreed to go as well. They both found the one thing that had been missing from their lives and have been attending W3C since then. Lynn volunteered in tech and media soon after and is still serving on that team. Women’s Ministry was something laid on her heart, and she worked with other women to form and shape the team into what it is today. She strongly believes in the Team’s mission statement to “Meet any woman where she is, no matter what stage of life she is currently in. Meet her with love, compassion, strength, truth, and guidance”. Lynn’s favorite Bible verse is John 3:30 – He must increase, but I must decrease. It has been a go to since her Freedom Weekend experience as He continues to work in her life. Lynn loves to write and feels she has been called to speak from the stage to others and has surrendered the fear of doing so. She also enjoys working on the farm/ranch with Steve and she is looking forward to retiring in a couple of years from her executive assistant position in the legal realm.
