We Are The Church: Men's Retreat 2026

From October 1–4, the men of Wood County Cowboy Church — along with men and sons from surrounding churches — gathered at Riverbend Retreat Center in Glen Rose, Texas, for this year's Men's Retreat, "We Are The Church."

The weekend was built around intentional prayer, worship, and fellowship, and one big question: what does it really mean to be the church outside its four walls? Between sessions there was fishing, grilling, basketball, cornhole, and plenty of laughter — and a little rain didn't slow anybody down.

One of the signs at camp said it best, from Deuteronomy 23:14: "The LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp — therefore shall your camp be holy." That's exactly what the weekend felt like.
